The Vaughan Newel Post brings a distinctly architectural presence to the staircase, balancing strong geometry with restrained decorative detail.

Its tall, rectilinear form is articulated by deeply recessed geometric panels that create a subtle interplay of light and shadow across the surface. A deep black finish gives the post its visual weight, while slender gold-toned bands and a stepped metallic crown and base introduce a measured note of contrast.

The substantial upper block and layered cap give Vaughan the presence expected of a principal newel, while the elongated paneled body keeps the composition disciplined and vertical. The result is a design that feels both established and contemporary—equally suited to a grand traditional stair hall or a more restrained transitional interior.

Designed as an architectural component rather than simply decorative stair hardware, Vaughan may be fully customized in size, color, finish and configuration to accommodate the requirements of an individual project.

Dust regularly using a soft, clean, dry cloth.

Clean painted and metal surfaces gently with a slightly damp, non-abrasive cloth when required, followed immediately by a dry cloth.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, metal polishes, scouring pads, solvents or harsh chemical products, as these may damage painted or electroplated finishes.

Avoid prolonged exposure to standing moisture.

Metallic finishes may develop subtle variations in tone over time. These changes are characteristic of decorative metal finishes and should not be considered defects.
