Thornleigh Coffee Table
A monumental coffee table that transforms carved natural stone into the illusion of sweeping, weightless drapery.
A monumental coffee table that transforms carved natural stone into the illusion of sweeping, weightless drapery.
The Thornleigh Coffee Table transforms natural stone into an unexpected study of movement, weight and illusion.
A broad disc of polished Nero Marquina marble forms the architectural upper plane, its deep black ground interrupted by naturally occurring mineral veining. Immediately beneath, a restrained aged-brass reveal creates a precise line of separation before the composition gives way to Thornleigh's defining feature: a sculptural warm-ivory stone base carved to evoke the sweeping folds and pooled hem of draped textile.
The contradiction is intentional. A material associated with permanence and immense weight appears fluid, gathered and almost weightless. Broad carved folds descend from beneath the tabletop before opening organically at floor level, creating alternating areas of light and shadow that change as the table is viewed from around the room.
Monumental without appearing monolithic, Thornleigh is conceived as functional sculpture—a commanding centerpiece for formal salons, expansive living rooms and highly considered interiors.
As each table is individually fabricated from natural stone, variations in color, veining, mineral character and carved detailing are inherent and ensure that no two examples are identical.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY
The Thornleigh Coffee Table is made to order with an estimated production period of 24–28 weeks following final material and production approval.
Due to the scale, weight and sculptural natural-stone construction of the Thornleigh, the table requires specialized furniture freight and protective crating. Delivery arrangements and applicable freight charges are confirmed according to destination, site conditions and access requirements. Large stone tables commonly require truck freight or substantial protective crating rather than ordinary parcel delivery.
Before ordering, clients are responsible for confirming that all doorways, corridors, stairways, elevators and other access points can accommodate the table and required handling equipment.
Professional receiving and installation are strongly recommended. Depending upon the destination and site conditions, additional handling equipment or personnel may be required.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees and other destination charges.
CARE
Natural marble is porous and should be treated accordingly. Wipe spills immediately using a soft, clean absorbent cloth, particularly spills involving wine, citrus, vinegar, coffee, oils or other acidic or strongly pigmented substances.
For routine cleaning, use a soft damp cloth or a pH-neutral cleaner formulated specifically for natural stone. Do not use abrasive cleaners, acidic products, bleach, scouring pads or harsh chemicals. Use coasters, trivets and protective pads beneath beverages, hot objects and decorative accessories. Periodic professional sealing may be recommended according to the selected stone and finish. These precautions are consistent with established care guidance for natural marble furniture.
Clean the aged-brass reveal only with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use metal polish or abrasive cleaning compounds unless specifically approved for the final finish
