Monumental in scale and enveloping in form, The State Chair is conceived as a private architectural retreat. Its sculptural shell rises around the sitter in a sweeping asymmetric silhouette, framing a deeply upholstered interior composed of broad, radiating panels that follow the curvature of the chair.

A generous crowned seat sits within the cocoon, while a fine metal reveal traces the opening with the precision of jewelry. Beneath the substantial body, a discreet recessed plinth visually lifts the chair from the floor and houses its swivel mechanism.

Offered in a considered collection of lacquered and hand-finished metallic surfaces paired with sumptuous mohair velvet interiors, The State Chair is designed to command space without sacrificing comfort.

The State Chair is made individually to order and requires specialist handling due to its scale, weight and finished surfaces. Delivery is by scheduled freight service. White-glove delivery may be available depending upon destination.

Customers are responsible for confirming all doorways, corridors, elevators, stairways and final placement areas before ordering. Because of the chair's substantial dimensions, delivery access should be verified carefully before production.

International orders may be subject to additional freight charges, duties, taxes and destination-specific handling requirements.

Made-to-order pieces are final sale and cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged once production has commenced.

Dust the exterior regularly with a clean, soft microfiber cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, polishing compounds or household chemicals on lacquered, metallic or patinated surfaces.

For mohair velvet, lightly vacuum using a clean upholstery attachment with reduced suction. Attend to spills immediately by blotting gently with a clean, absorbent cloth; do not rub. Professional upholstery cleaning is recommended for significant staining.

Metallic and patinated finishes are intended to develop subtle character over time. Variations in tone, texture and patina are part of the handcrafted nature of the piece and should not be considered defects.
