The Stanhope Column brings the character of a collected European interior into architectural scale. Its tall, restrained shaft is punctuated by a series of sculpted medallions, each conceived as a miniature work of architectural art.

Classical figures, equestrian imagery, and estate architecture emerge in dimensional relief against a richly patinated surface, creating a column that reveals its detail gradually as one moves through the space.

A deliberately restrained capital and stepped base provide a quiet architectural framework for the more expressive medallions, allowing the ornamentation to remain the focal point without overwhelming the column's silhouette.

Designed for grand halls, galleries, covered loggias, garden rooms, pool pavilions and other significant architectural spaces, The Stanhope can be commissioned in a selection of heights, diameters and architectural materials to suit the proportions and requirements of each project.

Material Options

Coated Architectural EPS

A lightweight architectural system particularly useful where reduced weight and easier handling are priorities. I would make this your starting-price material.

Premium FRP Composite

The middle tier and likely an attractive choice for many residential and commercial installations where durability, lower weight, and crisp molded detailing are important.

GFRC

Your premium, substantial architectural option for projects seeking the character and surface presence associated with masonry-based architectural elements.

The Stanhope Column is an architectural component intended for professional specification and installation. Suitability for structural or non-structural applications is dependent upon the selected material, internal construction and individual project requirements. All dimensions, loads, attachment methods, local building requirements and installation conditions must be reviewed and approved by the project's architect, engineer, contractor or other qualified professional prior to fabrication and installation.

Custom Dimensions: Available.

This column is individually made to order according to the selected dimensions, material, finish and project requirements.

Care requirements vary according to the selected material and finish.

For routine maintenance, remove surface dust using a clean, soft cloth or soft-bristled brush.

Clean finished surfaces using a mild, non-abrasive cleanser appropriate for the specified material. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh solvents and aggressive chemical cleaners.

Exterior columns should be periodically inspected for surface damage, coating deterioration and sealant or joint maintenance, particularly in exposed environments.

Do not pressure wash sculpted botanical relief unless specifically approved for the selected material and finish.

Repairs, refinishing and exterior maintenance should be performed using products compatible with the original architectural finish system.

Material-specific care instructions will accompany the finished specification.
