A commanding velvet sofa where architectural tailoring meets the artistry of traditional passementerie.

Quantity

The Norwood Sofa brings the language of traditional couture upholstery into a commanding contemporary silhouette. Generously proportioned and deliberately restrained in form, Norwood is defined by a long, uninterrupted bench seat, tall architectural arms and a softly relaxed back, creating an elegant foundation for its exceptional passementerie.

At each corner, an oversized hand-finished tassel is suspended from braided tonal cord, while a dense fringe traces the lower perimeter of the sofa. Rather than functioning as applied ornament, these details are conceived as part of the architecture of the piece—giving Norwood its distinctive sense of movement, ceremony and old-world craftsmanship.

The expansive upholstered back is intentionally left uninterrupted, allowing the sofa to be positioned freely within a room and appreciated from every angle. Rich velvet brings depth and subtle movement to the otherwise disciplined silhouette, while meticulous tailoring keeps the composition refined.

Made to order and offered in a carefully edited palette of Oxblood, Hague Blue, Navy, Rich Chocolate, Ivory and Greige, the Norwood is a statement sofa intended for formal salons, drawing rooms and sophisticated contemporary interiors.

Norwood Sofa

The Norwood Sofa is made to order with an estimated production period of 24–28 weeks following order confirmation.

Due to its scale, weight and hand-finished passementerie, the Norwood requires specialized furniture freight. Delivery arrangements and applicable freight charges are confirmed according to destination and site requirements.

Before ordering, clients are responsible for confirming that all doorways, corridors, stairways, elevators and other access points can accommodate the piece. We strongly recommend reviewing delivery access before production begins.

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees and other destination charges.

Made-to-order pieces are non-refundable.

Vacuum gently using a clean upholstery attachment at low suction, taking particular care around the fringe, braided cord and tassels.

Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth. Do not rub. Avoid saturating the velvet or passementerie with water or cleaning solution.

Protect from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture, which may affect the color and pile of the velvet.

Tassels and fringe should be handled gently and should never be pulled, vacuumed aggressively or mechanically brushed.

For stains or overall cleaning, professional upholstery cleaning is recommended. The precise cleaning method should ultimately follow the cleaning code of the velvet you select from the manufacturer; velvet-care requirements differ by fabric composition. Current luxury upholstery makers likewise commonly recommend gentle vacuuming and professional treatment for significant stains.
