Monumental in material yet restrained in form, The Margaux Sofa brings together the permanence of natural stone and the softness of exceptional upholstery in a striking study of contrast.
Substantial stone end panels frame a deeply upholstered interior, creating the impression of a soft, generous seating volume suspended within an architectural shell. A continuous bench cushion preserves Margaux's long, uninterrupted silhouette, while upholstered interior arm panels soften every point of contact without compromising the strength of the exterior form.
A subtly recessed shadow line separates the seat from the stone foundation below, lending unexpected lightness to the composition. Beneath, an understated aged-brass plinth is intentionally recessed from view, revealing only the slightest trace of warmth at the base.
The reverse is considered with equal attention. A large, tailored inset upholstered panel gives Margaux a beautifully finished presence from every direction, allowing the sofa to float confidently within a room rather than requiring placement against a wall.
Offered in a considered palette of natural stone and exceptional upholstery, Margaux is available in Statuario with Ivory Mohair, Nero Marquina with Tobacco Velvet, and Verde Alpi with Vicuña Mohair. Each pairing has been individually composed to balance the character of the stone with the depth, texture and tone of its accompanying upholstery.
Made to order and individually composed, each Margaux is inherently singular. Variations in veining, tone and mineral movement are characteristics of natural stone and ensure that no two pieces will ever be precisely alike.

The Margaux Sofa is individually made to order. Please allow approximately 30-35 weeks for production prior to dispatch. Lead times are estimates and may vary according to stone availability, slab selection, fabrication and destination.
Due to the scale, weight and natural-stone construction of this piece, Margaux requires specialized crating and freight transport. Shipping charges are calculated separately according to destination and access requirements.
Please confirm doorway, corridor, stair, elevator and installation clearances before ordering. Natural-stone components require careful professional handling.
White-glove delivery is not currently included.

CARE
Mohair & Velvet Upholstery
Vacuum gently using a clean upholstery attachment. Attend to spills immediately by blotting with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth; never rub. Avoid excessive moisture, household detergents and abrasive cleaning products. Professional upholstery cleaning is recommended when required. Directional shading and subtle changes in pile are natural characteristics of mohair and velvet.
Natural Stone
Dust with a clean, soft cloth. Wipe spills promptly. Avoid acidic, alkaline, abrasive or solvent-based cleaners. Do not place hot, wet or highly pigmented objects directly against the stone. Natural stone should be professionally maintained and resealed when appropriate for the selected material and finish.
Aged Brass
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use metal polish or abrasive cleaners. Natural patination and tonal variation are intended characteristics of the finish.
Keep the sofa away from prolonged direct sunlight and strong heat sources where possible.
