Traditional upholstery techniques are paired with a supportive eight-way hand-tied suspension system and a generously proportioned seat cushion constructed with a resilient inner core and feather-and-down wrapping for a balance of support and softness.
The chair is upholstered in House of Ellory's signature European wool-linen, selected for its refined hand, subtle woven texture, and quiet matte appearance. Tailored piping follows the perimeter of the seat, arms, and lumbar cushion, emphasizing the sculptural lines without interrupting the chair's restrained character.
Its signature skirt is finished with bespoke tonal botanical embroidery inspired by classical European architectural ornament. The embroidery is engineered in relation to the skirt panels so that the decorative composition remains deliberate and balanced across the finished chair.
