Its sculpted solid hardwood frame is hand-finished in Dark English Walnut, creating a continuous silhouette that gently embraces the sitter while framing a meticulously handwoven natural cane back. The warmth of the timber and tactile character of the cane are balanced by a generously upholstered seat tailored in warm ivory Belgian performance linen.

Beneath the upholstery, a high-resiliency foam core wrapped in feather and down provides lasting support with a softer, more luxurious sit. Traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, hand-sanded surfaces and carefully considered finishing details reflect the level of craftsmanship expected of a piece designed to remain in the home for generations.

The Guild Dining Chair is handcrafted from kiln-dried solid hardwood and finished by hand in rich Dark English Walnut. Its sculpted frame is constructed using reinforced mortise-and-tenon joinery, then individually sanded and finished to reveal the natural character and tonal variation of the timber.

The shaped back is inset with handwoven natural rattan cane, selected for its warmth, strength and organic texture. The seat is upholstered in warm ivory Belgian performance linen over a high-resiliency foam core with a feather-and-down wrap, balancing tailored structure with exceptional comfort.

Protective floor glides complete the construction. Each chair is individually inspected by skilled craftspeople prior to completion. As a handcrafted piece made from natural materials, subtle variations in wood grain, cane coloration and finish are inherent and contribute to the individual character of each chair.

The Guild Dining Chair is handcrafted to order and requires approximately 24–28 weeks for production prior to shipment. This extended lead time reflects the hand-built nature of the chair, including hardwood preparation, joinery, hand finishing, cane weaving, upholstery and final inspection.

Once production is complete, the chair will be carefully prepared for transit and shipped using an appropriate furniture delivery service. Delivery timing following completion will vary according to destination.

Because each Guild Dining Chair is made specifically to order, all orders are final sale and cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged once production has begun.

Lead times are estimates and may vary slightly due to the handcrafted nature of the piece, material availability and destination.

Dust the wood regularly with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or excessive moisture. A high-quality furniture wax suitable for the finish may be applied occasionally to help preserve the richness of the wood.

Gently vacuum the natural cane using a soft brush attachment and avoid saturating it with water. Vacuum the upholstered seat regularly using an upholstery attachment and blot spills promptly with a clean, absorbent cloth. Do not rub. Professional upholstery cleaning is recommended for deeper cleaning.
