House of Ellory
Chesham Architectural Cheval Mirror
The Chesham Architectural Cheval Mirror is an extraordinary expression of classical European design, where the elegance of an elongated oval mirror meets the commanding presence of finely detailed architectural metalwork and natural stone.
Rising between two fluted, aged-bronze columns crowned with sculptural finials, Chesham is framed in antiqued champagne-gold metalwork, its gently stepped profile lending depth and definition to the graceful oval silhouette. Discreet side pivots are designed to allow the mirror to be adjusted, preserving the functionality of a traditional cheval mirror while elevating its architectural character.
A defining feature of Chesham is its beautifully considered reverse. An inset aged-bronze panel, enriched with subtle variations in patina, is enclosed within delicate metallic detailing and finished with a discreet House of Ellory maker's plaque. The result is a mirror conceived to be admired from every perspective.
Beneath the fluted supports, a substantial two-tone natural-marble foundation combines a pale, richly veined upper stone with a contrasting dark marble plinth, separated by a fine metallic reveal. The interplay of polished stone, aged metal, and reflective glass gives Chesham its distinctive presence.
Offered in two generous editions, Grand and Atelier, Chesham is intended for distinguished dressing rooms, principal bedrooms, private residences, and carefully composed hospitality interiors.
The Chesham Architectural Cheval Mirror is more than a reflection—it is an architectural furnishing in its own right.

CARE
Mirror Glass
Clean using a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth and a suitable non-abrasive glass cleaner. Apply cleaning solution to the cloth rather than spraying directly onto the mirror, frame, or surrounding metalwork.
Avoid allowing moisture to accumulate around the mirror edges.
Antiqued Metallic Finishes
Dust gently with a clean, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, polishing compounds, harsh chemicals, and excessive rubbing, which may alter the intended patina.
Natural Marble
Wipe with a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and dry immediately. Use only cleaning products specifically suitable for natural stone.
Avoid acidic substances, abrasive pads, and prolonged exposure to moisture. Marble is naturally porous and may be susceptible to staining or etching.
Pivot Hardware
Operate the mirror only within its approved adjustment range. Do not force the mirror beyond its designed stops or attempt to adjust or disassemble the pivot fittings.
Placement
Position on a level, structurally suitable floor. Follow all supplied stability, anchoring, and installation instructions.
Professional handling is recommended when relocating the mirror. Never lift or move the piece by its glass, decorative finials, or pivot hardware.
