Sculptural in presence and unexpected in function, The Aubigny Side Table draws its inspiration from the unmistakable profile of the chess knight. Its equestrian form is shaped with an architectural sensibility, rising from a substantial turned pedestal to support a tailored, leather-clad tabletop.

The horse is rendered with particular attention to its sweeping neck, articulated features and deeply sculpted mane, allowing Aubigny to read as an object of craftsmanship from every angle. A slim aged-brass reveal beneath the tabletop provides a precise metallic counterpoint to the richness of the timber.

Rather than conventional upholstery, the top is conceived as a firm, leather-wrapped table surface—finely tailored, lightly softened at the perimeter and sufficiently flat for a cocktail, book or bedside objects.

Offered in contrasting timber finishes, Aubigny moves easily between traditional and contemporary interiors while retaining the character of an object collected over time.

The Aubigny Side Table is shaped and finished by hand, its sculptural timber pedestal drawing upon the commanding profile of the chess knight. A finely carved mane and articulated equestrian features rise from a substantial turned and stepped base, giving the piece the presence of a collected decorative object. Above, a firm, low-profile tabletop is tailored in full-grain saddle leather with a finely finished edge and a slim aged-brass reveal beneath. Concealed internal reinforcement provides structural support while preserving the purity of the silhouette. Each Aubigny is individually finished by hand and made to order; natural variations in timber grain, leather character and metal patination ensure that no two pieces will be precisely alike.

Each Aubigny Side Table is individually produced to order. Due to the sculptural construction and hand-finished materials, variations between pieces are natural and contribute to their individual character.

Once complete, the piece is carefully prepared for freight delivery. Delivery timing may vary according to destination, customs clearance and carrier scheduling.

For international orders, applicable duties, taxes and import charges may vary by destination.

Dust timber and metal surfaces regularly with a soft, dry cloth.

For the leather tabletop, wipe gently with a clean, soft cloth. Blot spills immediately and avoid allowing liquids to remain on the surface. Do not use household cleaners, solvents, abrasive products or silicone-based polishes.

Protect the leather from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture. Use coasters beneath beverages and avoid placing hot, wet or sharp objects directly on the tabletop.

Aged brass is a living finish and may deepen or develop additional patina over time. This natural evolution is part of the character of the piece and should not be considered a defect.

Natural variations in timber grain, leather tone and texture, and hand-applied finishes are expected.
