The Wellesley Sofa brings together the formality of classical European upholstery and the ease of contemporary living. Its elongated profile is defined by a gently sweeping back, sculpted arms and a deep, uninterrupted bench cushion, creating a silhouette that feels refined without becoming overly traditional.

A hand-finished wood plinth grounds the upholstered form, while tapered legs and subtle brass-finished sabots lend an architectural precision to the base. Three generously filled lumbar cushions soften the tailored frame, balancing structure with an inviting sense of comfort.

Designed as a luxury upholstered sofa that is equally beautiful from every angle, the Wellesley’s fully upholstered back makes it particularly striking when floated within a room rather than placed against a wall. Made to order, each Wellesley Sofa brings together tailored European influence, architectural detailing and the relaxed comfort required for contemporary living.

Each Wellesley Sofa is made to order. Please allow approximately 24–28 weeks for production and delivery. Delivery timing may vary according to destination, customization and final production schedule.

To preserve the beauty and integrity of your Wellesley Sofa, we recommend regular, gentle care. Vacuum upholstery periodically using a soft brush attachment to remove surface dust. Attend to spills promptly by blotting gently with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth; do not rub or saturate the fabric.

For stains or deeper cleaning, professional upholstery cleaning is recommended. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, abrasive cleaners, and household cleaning products unless specifically approved for the selected textile.

Protect upholstery from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and excessive heat, which may cause fading or affect the appearance of natural fibers over time. Rotate and gently reshape loose cushions periodically to encourage even wear and maintain their form.

Dust exposed wood surfaces with a clean, soft, dry cloth, following the direction of the grain. Avoid silicone-based furniture sprays, abrasive products, and excessive moisture. Protect wood finishes from prolonged direct sunlight and placement immediately adjacent to radiators, fireplaces, or other sources of intense heat.

As many House of Ellory textiles and finishes are selected for their natural character, subtle variations in color, texture, grain, and appearance are inherent and contribute to the individuality of each piece.
