Josephine Cocktail Ottoman

Each Josephine Ottoman is individually handcrafted over a kiln-dried hardwood and engineered wood frame selected for stability and longevity. The generously upholstered top is constructed with high-resilience cushioning to provide a supportive yet comfortable surface while maintaining the ottoman's tailored silhouette.

The upper body is meticulously upholstered and finished with a fine self-welt along the perimeter, emphasizing the purity of the round or elongated oval form. Beneath, a recessed upholstered base is concealed behind a continuous hand-finished fur border, creating Josephine's distinctive couture-inspired silhouette while allowing the fur to fall naturally around the base.

Available upholstery includes premium cotton velvet, European leather, and select House of Ellory textiles. Fur finishes are selected individually to complement each upholstery and may vary naturally in tone, density, texture, and direction of pile.

Regularly remove surface dust from upholstered areas using a clean, soft upholstery brush or a vacuum fitted with a low-suction upholstery attachment. Avoid excessive pressure, vigorous rubbing, or abrasive cleaning products.

For cotton velvet, gently brush the pile in its natural direction using a soft velvet or upholstery brush. Variations in shading are characteristic of velvet and occur naturally as the direction of the pile changes.

Leather should be dusted with a clean, dry cloth and kept away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight. Natural markings, tonal variation, and the gradual development of patina are inherent characteristics of premium leather and should not be considered imperfections.

The fur border should be gently shaken or brushed periodically to maintain its natural loft and movement. Do not aggressively vacuum, steam, saturate, or apply household cleaning products to the fur.

Blot spills immediately with a clean, absorbent white cloth without rubbing. Professional upholstery cleaning is recommended for all significant stains or overall cleaning.

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, and high-humidity environments.
