The Pascal Writing Desk balances classical furniture-making with the restrained architectural language of House of Ellory.

At 60 inches wide, Pascal offers a generous writing surface while retaining an elegant, finely proportioned silhouette. A framed inset top establishes the composition, while the apron is punctuated by a central reeded drawer—an understated textural detail finished with a single sculptural aged-brass pull.

Tapered legs lend the desk its lightness, transitioning through substantial aged-brass collars at the shoulders and terminating in coordinating brass sabots. Fine metal reveals trace the architecture of the piece, introducing warmth and definition without overwhelming the timber.

Pascal is offered in three distinctive material compositions: Noir, with a deep black finish and warm timber perimeter; Warm Ivory, pairing softly finished ivory with a contrasting natural timber writing surface; and Natural Oak & Burl, distinguished by the expressive movement of figured burl set within a natural oak surround.

Designed for private studies, libraries, bedrooms and sophisticated home offices, Pascal is equally compelling placed against a wall or allowed to stand as a focal point within the room.

Pascal Writing Desk

The Pascal Writing Desk is made to order with an estimated production period of 24–28 weeks following order confirmation.

Each desk is carefully inspected and professionally packed for secure transport. Due to its size, weight and fine finishes, Pascal ships by specialized furniture freight.

Delivery timing varies according to destination and may be affected by international transit, customs processing and regional carrier schedules.

For international orders, applicable duties, taxes and customs charges are the responsibility of the purchaser unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Please confirm that all doorways, corridors, elevators, stairways and access points can accommodate the dimensions of the piece before ordering.

Made-to-order pieces are final sale and cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged once production has commenced.

Dust regularly with a clean, soft, dry cloth. For timber surfaces, wipe gently in the direction of the grain.

Immediately blot spills with a clean, absorbent cloth. Do not allow moisture to remain on the surface.

Avoid abrasive cleaners, chemical polishes, silicone-based products and household cleaning sprays. Do not place hot, wet or sharp objects directly on the writing surface.

Use coasters, desk pads and protective accessories where appropriate. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and excessive fluctuations in temperature or humidity, which may affect natural timber and veneer over time.

Aged brass will naturally develop additional character and patination with age. Avoid abrasive metal cleaners unless professionally advised.
