The Hearthenshaw Leather Club Fender brings the refinement of traditional English fireside seating into a distinctly architectural composition.
Two generously upholstered seating returns frame the hearth, their softly rounded profiles finished with individually applied brass nailheads. Beneath each seat, richly figured walnut panels feature a striking radial veneer arrangement, bordered by fine brass inlay and supported within a precisely constructed timber framework.
Fluted architectural columns in an aged-brass finish introduce a classical rhythm, while a slender horizontal brass gallery connects the two sides without interrupting the open central span. Below, a substantial walnut burl plinth displays the intricate natural figuring of the timber, finished with a continuous brass reveal along its lower edge.
The contrast between supple leather, polished wood and patinated metal gives Hearthenshaw its character: formal yet inviting, richly detailed without excessive ornament.

UPHOLSTERY
Premium full-grain leather, selected for its natural character, refined grain and supple hand. Upholstery is tailored over a supportive, high-resilience cushioning system to create a comfortable yet structured seating profile.
TIMBER CONSTRUCTION
Select solid hardwood internal framework with carefully matched natural walnut veneers. Decorative panels feature a radial veneer composition, while the substantial lower plinth is finished in richly figured walnut burl.
METALWORK
Architectural fluted columns, connecting gallery and decorative detailing in an aged-brass finish. Nailheads are individually applied along the upholstered edges.
FINISHING
Timber surfaces receive a fine furniture-grade protective finish that enhances the depth of the walnut without obscuring its natural figure. Metalwork is finished to complement the warmth of the timber and leather.

CARE
FIREPLACE PLACEMENT
Hearthenshaw is an upholstered architectural furnishing and is not a fire screen, spark guard or substitute for a code-compliant hearth.
Before placement near an operational fireplace, the installation must be assessed for safe clearances from the firebox, radiant heat, sparks and other ignition sources. Suitability depends on the fireplace type, applicable building requirements and the final construction specification.
Do not expose the leather, timber or finished metalwork to excessive heat or direct flame.
LEATHER CARE
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Blot spills promptly and use only leather-care products suitable for the selected finish. Avoid direct sunlight, prolonged moisture and harsh cleaning agents.
TIMBER & BRASS CARE
Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive products, solvents and excessive moisture. Natural variations in walnut burl figuring and subtle differences in hand-applied finishes are characteristic of the materials.
