The Westbury Lantern reinterprets the enduring elegance of traditional European lantern lighting through a distinctly House of Ellory lens.

A tall cylinder of hand-blown warm ivory opaline glass rests within a slender architectural framework, diffusing illumination into a soft, atmospheric glow. Beneath, a sculpted bell-shaped shade introduces weight and character to the elongated silhouette, while a clear hand-blown glass hemisphere captures the light below.

The contrast is deliberate: softly luminous glass against patinated metal, translucent black glass against warm brass, or tactile Venetian-inspired plaster against a subtly gilded interior.

Westbury's restrained geometry allows its materials to command attention. Subtle variations inherent to hand-blown glass and hand-applied finishes give each lantern individual character rather than the uniformity of mass production.

Equally compelling individually or installed in repetition, Westbury was conceived for rooms of architectural scale—from soaring kitchens and long dining rooms to entrance halls, galleries and vaulted corridors.

Made to order.

Hand-Blown Opaline Glass

The elongated central shade is individually hand blown in warm ivory opaline glass, selected for its softly diffused illumination and subtle depth.

Hand-Blown Clear Glass

A clear glass hemisphere beneath the lower shade creates a second layer of illumination and provides visual counterpoint to the opaque opaline glass above.

Architectural Metalwork

The slender arched framework, suspension hardware, chain and fittings are fabricated in metal and individually finished to develop a nuanced, softly aged surface.

Sculpted Lower Shade

The characteristic bell-shaped lower shade is retained across the collection while its material changes by finish—aged brass, smoked black glass, Venetian-inspired plaster or aged nickel.

Hand-Applied Finishes

Metal finishes are intentionally nuanced rather than uniformly machine-polished. Tonal variation and subtle evidence of the finishing process are part of Westbury's character.

Natural Variation

Minor variations in thickness, translucency, bubbles and surface character are inherent to hand-blown glass and should be regarded as signatures of its making rather than imperfections. Hand-blown glass commonly exhibits these subtle variations.

The Westbury Lantern is individually produced to order.

Estimated Lead Time: 24–28 weeks

Because of the scale, hand-finished metalwork and multiple hand-blown glass components, each lantern should be carefully inspected and professionally packed before dispatch.

Fixtures will ship crated for freight delivery to protect the glass and metalwork during transit.

Shipping charges are calculated separately according to destination, lantern size and quantity ordered.

For international orders, additional freight, customs duties, taxes and import fees may apply.

Professional installation by a qualified electrician is required.

Please note: Made-to-order pieces are final sale and cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged once production has commenced.

Dust gently using a clean, dry, soft microfiber cloth or a very soft natural-bristle brush.

Do not use abrasive cloths, household cleaners, solvents, alcohol-based products, ammonia, polishing compounds or chemical glass cleaners on the sculptural elements or metalwork.

Avoid excessive pressure when cleaning the individually formed elements. The aged-brass finish should not be polished, as commercial metal polishes may alter or remove the intended patina.

For significant cleaning, servicing or adjustment, professional chandelier or specialty lighting care is recommended.

Always disconnect electrical power before cleaning or servicing the fixture.
