Manchester Upholstered Bunk Bed

A bunk bed, reimagined as upholstered architecture
The Manchester Bunk Bed transforms a familiar childhood form into a beautifully tailored piece of upholstered architecture.
Defined by softly sculpted proportions, broad upholstered panels, and a deeply considered architectural silhouette, Manchester is designed to bring the refinement of a bespoke interior to children's rooms, guest suites, and beautifully appointed bunk rooms.
The substantial upholstered surround creates a sense of enclosure and permanence, while finely tailored contrast piping traces the bed's curved perimeter with the precision of couture upholstery. A hand-finished aged-brass ladder introduces a warm architectural counterpoint, designed as an integral element of the composition rather than a purely functional addition.
Generously upholstered and meticulously finished from every visible angle, Manchester has the presence of a significant piece of furniture while retaining the warmth and comfort appropriate to a sleeping space.
Available in Twin over Twin and Full over Full, with a curated selection of House of Ellory textiles and bespoke upholstery available by request.

CRAFTSMANSHIP & DETAILS
The Manchester Bunk Bed is conceived as a fully upholstered architectural piece, with softly radiused corners, generously padded surfaces, and broad tailored panels creating its distinctive sculptural form.
A structured internal frame provides the foundation beneath layers of upholstery and carefully applied padding. Each exterior panel is individually tailored to maintain clean alignment across the headboards, footboards, side elevations, and upper surround.
Fine contrast piping follows the principal architectural edges of the bed, emphasizing its curved silhouette and providing a refined transition between upholstered planes.
The integrated ladder is crafted in metal and finished in warm aged brass, with substantial rails, carefully formed corners, and coordinating mounting details.

CARE
Vacuum upholstered surfaces regularly using a clean upholstery attachment at low suction.
Blot spills promptly with a clean, absorbent cloth. Do not rub. For more extensive cleaning, professional upholstery cleaning is recommended.
Avoid harsh household cleaners, bleach, abrasive products, and excessive moisture. Protect upholstery from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to minimize uneven fading.
Dust metal components regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive polishes or chemical cleaners on aged-brass finishes, as these may alter the intended patina.
Periodically inspect the bed, ladder, guardrails, connections, and mounting hardware in accordance with the supplied care and safety instructions. Hardware should be tightened as required.
Care requirements may vary according to the selected upholstery. Please refer to the textile-specific care information supplied with your order.
