The Charleston Writing Desk brings the intimacy of a traditional writing table into a more tailored, architectural composition.

Its compact 50-inch silhouette is defined by gently raised gallery sides that sweep upward at either end of the writing surface, creating Charleston's distinctive profile without compromising its clean, disciplined lines. A framed inset top introduces a contrasting material moment, while the restrained drawer façade provides discreet storage within the slender apron.

Long tapered legs give the desk an almost weightless quality, grounded by hand-finished aged-brass sabots. Fine brass detailing traces the lower edge of the apron and subtly outlines the architecture of the piece, providing warmth and definition rather than ornament for ornament's sake.

Offered in three richly considered material compositions, Charleston can move easily between a private study, bedroom, library, guest suite or elegantly appointed home office. At 50 inches wide and only 24 inches deep, it provides a comfortable writing surface while remaining particularly suited to spaces where a full-scale executive desk would feel imposing.

Charleston Writing Desk

The Charleston Writing Desk is made to order with an estimated production period of 24–28 weeks following order confirmation.

Each desk is carefully inspected and professionally packed for transport. Due to the fine finishes and specialist materials used throughout the piece, Charleston ships by professional furniture freight.

Delivery timing varies according to destination and may be affected by international transit, customs processing and regional carrier schedules.

International duties, taxes and customs charges, where applicable, are the responsibility of the purchaser unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Please confirm that all doorways, corridors, stairways, elevators and access points can accommodate the dimensions of the piece prior to ordering.

Made-to-order pieces are final sale and cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged once production has commenced.

As with Pascal, I would avoid explicitly promising complimentary freight until you know Charleston's packed weight and crate dimensions.

Dust regularly using a clean, soft, dry cloth.

Immediately blot spills with a clean absorbent cloth. Never allow standing moisture to remain on timber, veneer or lacquered surfaces.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, household sprays, silicone-based polishes or harsh chemical products.

Use a writing pad, coaster or protective surface beneath objects that may scratch, stain or transfer heat to the desk.

Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and significant fluctuations in temperature or humidity. Natural timber and figured veneer may develop subtle tonal changes over time.

Aged-brass elements are intended to develop additional character and patination with age. Do not use abrasive metal polish unless specifically recommended by a furniture-care professional.
